Taylor and Evan | The Perfect Winter Wedding at Capital City Club

Taylor’s mom first reached out to me in April of 2018 to talk about her daughters wedding. It was one of those calls where I felt instantly that we had a good connection and that this was going to be a great family to work with. Fast forward to December 2018 when we photographed Taylor’s bridal portraits at the state capital in Columbia, SC. Taylor’s mom and dad were both there and so excited about everything. Her dad was jumping right in with shot ideas and location ideas. I love when families are as excited about the photos as I am! After the shoot, Taylor and her family graciously treated me and my wife to a fantastic dinner where we got to get to know each other a little more and talk about some similar interests we shared, specifically in mission work. I left dinner that night and told my wife how this was going to be such a fun family to spend the day with.

Fast forward to February 1st, 2019. The big day! Taylor was having both her ceremony and reception at the Capital City Club. We spent the morning photographing both Taylor and Evan as they got ready and then we took them separately across the street to the state house for some photos (one of which was Evan with a dog that I was explicitly told HAD to be in the first set of pics released - and you’ll see below) . The ceremony was lovely and the reception was jam-packed with fun. Taylor and Evan created an incredible celebration together. It will be a day not soon forgotten.
